Brenda Carranza-Gonzalez, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hi, I’m Brenda—a Licensed Clinical Social Worker passionate about helping individuals feel more connected, empowered, and emotionally balanced. I believe that therapy is a collaborative journey, and my role is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported as you work toward the changes that matter most to you.
I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, and I’m proud to support individuals and families from diverse cultural backgrounds. Whether you feel most comfortable expressing yourself in Spanish or want to explore how your identity, culture, or family history shapes your experience, I’m here to walk with you through it. |
Over the years, I’ve worked with clients in a wide range of settings, including community mental health, inpatient facilities, and outpatient care. This has given me a deep appreciation for the complexities people face and allows me to tailor therapy to your unique needs and goals.
I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional overwhelm, or major life transitions. Using evidence-based approaches like Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients develop insight, build skills, and reconnect with their strengths.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth. Whether you're seeking healing, coping strategies, or personal growth, I’ll meet you where you are—with empathy, curiosity, and a deep respect for your story.
Outside of the therapy room, I find joy in spending time with my family, crafting, and photography—creative practices that keep me grounded and inspired. I bring that same sense of presence and intention into my work with clients.
If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to support you.
Therapy is available in both English and Spanish / Terapia disponible en inglés y español.
