Russell Peterson, CMHC
Clinical Mental Health Counselor
We live in an age of constant information and noise. With so much coming at us, it's no wonder many people feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to begin when it comes to personal growth. If that sounds like you-- or someone you care about--you're not alone. And you've come to the right place.
With over 25 years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families create meaningful change, I've developed clear, compassionate ways to help clients move past roadblocks and toward the lives they want to live. Whether you're facing challenges in relationships, struggling with old patterns, or simply ready for a shift, I'm here to help you get where you want to go. Clients often describe our sessions as positive, energizing, and even fun. I bring deep knowledge, tools that work, and fresh perspective--but no agenda. My job is to support your goals, your dreams and the life you want to build. This work is about you and what you want to create. We'll start by looking at how your brain and body are designed to keep you safe. It's a surprisingly eye-opening conversation--most people walk away from our first session saying, "I finally understand myself in a way I never have before." That insight becomes a foundation for real, lasting change. I don't believe people are broken. I believe we as humans are incredibly adaptive, doing the best we can with what we've learned and experienced. Sometimes, the strategies that helped us survive in the past stop serving us in the present. When that happens, we can learn new ways of being--healthier, more effective, and more aligned with who we really are. If you're ready to create a life that feels more meaningful, connected, and true to you, I'd love to help. |
